Pizza is one of the most popular dishes in the world and began its triumphal march from Naples in the 20th century. A freshly baked pizza is not only an eye-catcher for the eye but also inspires the palate thanks to the various possibilities of filling with fresh ingredients.
For two pizza doughs we recommend the following ingredients: 350g wheat flour, 2dl warm water, 5g salt, 3g sugar, a tablespoon olive oil, yeast.
We empty 2 dl warm water into a bowl and add yeast and sugar. The sugar serves to accelerate the yeast reaction.
Stir vigorously with a fork until small bubbles form. Then add flour while stirring constantly. As soon as we have reached a nice homogeneous dough mass, we add olive oil, stirring constantly.
Empty the dough onto a smooth surface and knead vigorously for 3 to 5 minutes. Then let the dough rest. The pizza dough reaches its ideal taste when it is left to heat for 3 hours and then in the fridge for 3 hours.
